With predominantly red and green walls, and colored lights strung up in the bar's adjacent indoor smoking area, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Whistle Stop. But the year-round pseudo-festive decor creates an unfussy cool, setting the tone for a Monday to Friday post-work pint, or a late-night weekend escapade on the dance floor. During the week, the jukebox randomly plays everything from Neneh Cherry to Led Zeppelin, and weekends warm up with live music and resident DJs spinning hip-hop, Brit pop, electro and rock.
