The Kava Lounge has a bar, a DJ booth, space (though limited) for dancing and a back room, a couple of steps up from the main floor, for schmoozing. The interior decor is as eclectic as the music – exotic vibe meets 'Nawlins dive. Ornamental light fixtures, fans, draperies, sake-based cocktails, organic wines, local beers (which are the best of the beverages, by far). An ideal hangout for the, shall we say, occidental tourist. Not that tourists, occidental or Zonie variety, have a clue as to the whereabouts of the Kava Lounge. This has already become a word-of-mouth regulars bar – thanks mostly to the DJs, their followings and their music.
